With bold designs and unique educational elements, we enhanced both shelf appeal and the customer experience, positioning Meowijuana as the go-to brand for fun-loving cat parents.
How It Started:
SmarterPaw® came to us with an exciting challenge: refresh the packaging for Meowijuana, their beloved catnip brand, to create a cohesive, premium look across a wide range of products. Our task was to unify over 40 SKUs under a consistent design system that would not only spotlight the brand but also engage and educate customers at a glance.
Approach:
Our redesign focused on clarity, readability, and the brand’s distinct identity. We emphasized the Meowijuana logo and product name to strengthen brand recognition, while also refining key selling points to enhance customer understanding. A core element of the redesign was the introduction of “catnip categories”—an inventive system to communicate Meowijuana’s unique catnip blends and help customers easily choose the right product. These categories added a playful nod to marijuana culture, capturing the brand’s quirky spirit and appealing to its target audience.

Each aspect of the packaging redesign brings Meowijuana’s personality to life. We incorporated the “catnip categories” as a tongue-in-cheek nod to the brand’s marijuana-inspired theme, creating a fun experience that resonates with customers. From the iconic logo to playful visuals, each package captures the brand’s energy and appeal while educating customers on what makes each blend special. The result is packaging that’s memorable, approachable, and on-brand.
